Holiday Hair Series: Part 2

Here is part 2 in the holiday hair series with TRESemmé!

I am using the same products as last time, not including the hair embellishments 🙂

I used the TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Mousse to prep my hair to give it some extra volume before styling. (If you need a quick refresher, I recommend the TRESemmé Fresh Start Volumizing Dry Shampoo on your roots before styling) Measure a section of hair on each side, making sure it’s even. Section off one part and begin braiding the other.

Pull it taut and this is what the finished braid should look like. Fluff up the braids on both sides.



Pull it over and pin it in place.

Do the same on the other side and pin it into the first braid. To finish off my look, make sure to mist on the TRESemmé Keratin
Smooth Illuminating Shine Spray for added shine!

Congrats you are done! This is what it will look like from the side.

This is the finished look. You can spray some shine spray or hairspray depending on if you feel like it needs a little extra touch!

I like to do this hairstyle whenever I feel a little more bohemian, which needless to say isn’t that often, but surely at least 3 times a year 🙂 I have yet to shoot a look with it on the blog but rest assured you will see some soon. By the way – braids look best on multi-dimensional hair, so I’m happy I have a light ombre but am still excited to see how my braids look come spring/summer since I’ll definitely be going lighter.
