Maison Jules: Pieces of ParisMonday, December 21, 2015
In today's post I wanted to show you three different looks from Maison Jules that I shot in three different places that remind me of Paris since Maison Jules is after all a Parisian street-style inspired clothing line. The first spot was a vintage wine bar. Turtlenecks, stripes and skater skirts that aren't so short are pretty classic French pieces.
The second spot is of course a flower shop. There are no flower shops in my town quite like the perfect ones on every corner in Paris but I did my best to find one that was outdoors at least. For this look I wore a beautiful Maison Jules cocoon coat which is really one of the big winter coat trends this year. I paired it with gray heels and cream Maison Jules pieces. I was really amazed at how cozy the coat was and the pants fit like a glove.
The third look features a toggle coat, turtleneck, denim and over the knee boots. French style is ultimately simple, classic pieces and we shot this Maison Jules look outside a brasserie, not to be confused with brassiere like I did the first time! A brasserie such as the Left Bank at Santana Row is a relaxed French inspired restaurant. I have yet to try the food but the decor (such as the outdoor seating) is so Paris!!
