You really should never miss an opportunity to match your lips to any berry colored piece of clothing you might be wearing. In this case, I went for a very bold red to match my coat! I think it makes a much more stunning combo! In addition, there is nothing like pure blackout tights to keep things sleek and to elongate legs -- I have been blown away by the quality of my new HUE tights which are really the best blackout tights I have ever tried. I spiced this otherwise classic look up with my new Versace sunglasses that have a touch of yellow and leopard print bag. Tonight I'm off to Thailand so I'm really excited and doing all my last minute packing. Finally no more coats and boots! At least for a little while ;)
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend off! In case you guys have or have not seen these looks on my Instagram page @hapatime, I am posting 10 of some of my most recent looks here with full outfit details! Enjoy! xoxo
Every girl dreams of the perfect wedding, from the gown to the flowers, to the lights, to the guests. Of course let's not forget the groom! There is something so magical about how it all comes together. I've recently been introduced to Martina Liana Separates: Together.Forever, a couture separates collection that comes in 18 pieces, from corsets, bodysuits, tops, skirts, jackets and belts resulting in over 100 different combinations. The dresses created can be anywhere between chic and simple to romantic and glamorous. They are adorned with Swarvoski crystals, moonstone, pearls, the finest Italian Bellagio Crepe, Parisian Silk Chiffon, Guipere lace and stretch lining for ultimate hold and comfort.
In addition, Martina Liana's sister label, Sorella Vita is the perfect solution for any bride that wants to easily match her bridesmaids. Sorella Vita bridesmaid dresses come in 30 color combos, including their newest hit, the Modern Metallic collection.
In today's post I wanted to show you three different looks from Maison Jules that I shot in three different places that remind me of Paris since Maison Jules is after all a Parisian street-style inspired clothing line. The first spot was a vintage wine bar. Turtlenecks, stripes and skater skirts that aren't so short are pretty classic French pieces.
I don't get out to exercise outside much anymore (and I hardly ever exercise either for that matter) but I must say it was refreshing to walk around the park yesterday in my new Charlotte Russe workout/lounge apparel, bluetooth headphones and my new Versace sunnies. The thing about new workout gear is it really does inspire me to get off my butt and start moving. And what better time than the upcoming new year to get back into it?
We are lucky to still have so much sun and in some places, grass. But don't let it deceive you into thinking it is warm as well. It is positively freezing! (I admit, some days it is fairly warm.) However, recently I saw it was 37 degrees outside. My Cali, what is happening?!
Hey guys! I am so excited to announce I'm hosting an event with Biossance this Sunday at Stoneridge Mall in Pleasanton! (You can check out my post from yesterday for more info on their product, The Revitalizer). It's going to be so fun so be sure if you are in the area to stop by between 2 to 4 p.m for the blogger meet and greet! Plus there are going to be lots of goodies and a photo booth so I hope to see you there! :)
By the way, for my look I am wearing my new favorite trench from Revolve! It will transition perfectly to spring so I'm excited to get a lot of wear out of it.
I've recently had the opportunity to try out The Revitalizer from Biossance. Essentially it is 100% Squalane, an Omega 2 oil our bodies naturally produce until our early 20's. You can get a 1.7 oz bottle for $58 and since you hardly need more than a few drops per use, I estimate it lasting me at least a couple months with daily use. I think it would make a wonderful gift for your best friend or mom or just anyone you know that cares about their skin. I also read that it helped a girl with bad eczema so I am going to get a bottle for one of my sisters!
The Revitalizer was actually just released this past summer and what it does is instantly hydrate and revitalize your skin while being fragrance free, paraben free, hypoallergenic, dermatologist recommended and most importantly for people like me - non-comedogenic! According to their clinical study, 100% plant derived Squalane increases cell turnover. 95% of their female testers reported softer skin after one week. I actually have very oily skin but at the same time I know that my skin over produces oil to compensate and by using the right oil/moisturizer, I lessen my own oil production and soothe my pores.
At the bottom of my post you can see my dry legs before and after The Revitalizer is applied. I think I'm going to save The Revitalizer for my face but thought that would be a great way to show an immediate effect since my legs were dry after my shower.
Hope you guys found this post useful and give it a try!
You guys won't believe how cool this is! I got a Prynt Case which prints photos directly from my phone! All I do is charge the Prynt Case, make sure their special paper is inside the case, insert the phone into the case and log in to the Prynt app on my phone! From there I can either find a photo I already have or take a new one, and then the magic happens – I record a short video, and it ‘lives’ inside the photo. Anyone can point their phone screen at the physical photo and the video comes to life, overlaid right on the photo (think Harry Potter). It's so easy and fun to use when you are out and about!
The printed photos are great quality and also work as stickers too. Each time the Prynt Case is fully charged it lasts for 20 prints. I've already printed out photos of my dog, from my vacations, family and friends! You can put photos on your binders, lockers, wallets, etc! I think it would make an amazing gift and hey Christmas is right around the corner. Just make sure you order before December 17th so it arrives in time :)
Here is my second to last look that we shot in Paris. I'm saving the best for last but I really do love them all. I found this gorgeous dress on Asos, and really fell in love with the Chi Chi London label. Their dresses are so Paris as far as I'm concerned, and possibly London too :)
We shot on the Pont Alexander Bridge, which is honestly the most extravagant bridge I have ever seen. The gold accents seemed to glow under the cloudy sky. They even quite matched my dress.
Today I wanted to take you along my mini getaway I took this past weekend along the beautiful California coast. We stayed a few nights at Carmel Valley Ranch, stopped by McWay Falls, Bixby Bridge and got lunch at Ventana Inn. I love that we don't have to go too far to see such amazing places. If you are visiting California, or just looking for a getaway from the Bay Area, I highly recommend this trip!
If you can believe it, the below photos were taken with my brand new HTC One A9. I use both my DSLR and phone to take pictures, so it's definitely important to have a phone with a great camera. Whenever I'm traveling, then I prefer to take pictures with my phone since it's much easier to post quickly while on the go. And if you're in tune with camera settings, you also have the ability to shoot Raw in the Pro option which is super cool as you can adjust ISO, white balance, contrast, etc all while keeping the extensive picture data for later editing.
You can check out a short description of what you are seeing under each photo!
Here is one of my looks from this weekend in Carmel. We stopped by this vineyard which was really beautiful and very close to Carmel Valley Ranch. Which in fact, we ended back up at Carmel Valley Ranch because it is just too nice! This time we got a two bedroom suite which seriously, I'm in love! There are three TV's and two fireplaces plus two bathrooms/bathtubs/showers/toilets, a living area with a desk, etc.
I matched my scarf to my boots and was very happy with how similar the colors are. I wore my new Shein top which has a ribbed texture. Ivanka Trump boots are so comfortable but these burgundy ones are a little wider than my black ones. I have to wear two leg warmers to fill them out rather than one!
Also, we stopped by Ventana Inn for lunch earlier today and it was so amazing. The view really blew me away and the food of course was spectacular. Afterward we went to McWay Falls and caught the most stunning sunset.
I meant to post this look a few days ago but instead took a little break this weekend as my sister and our boyfriends explored the coast line. We stayed overnight at Carmel Valley Ranch and honestly it was perfect. It was relaxing, romantic, fun and everyone there was extremely courteous and helpful. I loved our room with the high ceiling and the bathroom had a heated floor. There was also an infinity hot tub in the center of the lodge which was just the right temperature. We took a lot of photos which you'll see soon.
I wore this look in Paris for the first day we visited the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, and the bridge of love. There are all these rows of beautiful golden trees and as we shot this look, we realized we were on a very busy exercise path. It was just amazing how many people ran by! My outfit was sufficient for the cool weather but the day warmed up considerably and I felt over dressed by two pm.
We shot this gorgeous Chicwish dress in the Garden of Luxembourg in Paris. This dress hugs me in all the right places, and the colors are just perfect for Autumn (I also love the wine rose version).
The garden is beautifully landscaped area first built in 1612, bordered by carefully aligned trees with an air of mystery. It is quite wonderful to be surrounded by fall tinted trees and yet see such vivid blossoms as well. Afterward we went to Angelinas to try their famous hot chocolate and then rushed off to Montemarte. It was a cold day and if you look carefully, you might be able to see my goosebumps! I didn't let it bother me though... I do love any place that may have inspired a fairy tale.
