Park City, Utah Recap!

Fun fact about me, I was actually born in Provo, Utah! My dad is from Utah and my mom had me when they were living in Utah while my dad went back to school. I've always grown up going to Utah every summer and Christmas but this was my first time in Park City. We were lucky we arrived right after a storm had come through so the snow was perfect where we were staying (we were a little higher than the valley so the snow didn't melt as quickly). It was a beautiful white winter wonderland. We stayed at the Hyatt Centric and the hotel was really, really nice. The rooms had a fireplace and were so cozy, and they had a huge outdoor hot tub which was actually amazing!! I normally have a hard time getting in hot tubs because I'm very sensitive to heat and cold but even though it was freezing outside (literally 30 degrees Fahrenheit!) I got in with no problem!!

It was also walking distance to a bunch of other resorts and the ski lifts. The only thing we didn't like was the food at their restaurant, so we mostly ate at other places. We were craving Mexican food and we came across El Chubasco which had the most AMAZING salsa bar. My family is a little obsessed with salsa (we fill up like 20 of those little containers lol) and they have one of the best salsa bars I've been to. Downtown Park City is also really cute and there are lots of shops and quaint places to eat. There are a couple of different resort areas in Park City but I was really happy with the area we stayed in and is the perfect location if you are looking to be close to everything and be just steps away from the ski lifts.

A Pop of Color

Sally Hansen Color Therapy Unwine'd nail polish | Abercrombie vest | Furla bag | Forever 21 turtleneck

Can you guys believe there are just 3 days until Christmas?! I always get started a little late on Christmas shopping (especially this year since I've been traveling and finishing up some work) but I finally finished checking off everybody's wish lists items and getting everything wrapped! I do some of my shopping online but I also do a lot of shopping at my local stores (like Nordstrom, Ulta and Target) so I was pretty excited to learn about shopkick, an app that lets you earn 'kicks' (reward points) while you shop and these kicks can be redeemed for gift cards. You can earn kicks simply by doing things you normally do while shopping like walking into the store or scanning items in the store.

I recently used the app to earn some kicks while picking up some Sally Hansen Color Therapy nail polish at Target. I painted my nails white before I went to Cabo, so I decided it was time to go with a more festive color for Christmas. I picked out a beautiful deep red (370 Unwine'd) and I am in love with the shade. Sally Hansen has always been one of my favorite nail brands (the polish just dries so quickly) and the Color Therapy line is great because it has an Argan Oil base so it really helps nourish dry, weak nails and give them a shiny finish. And to get the best results for lasting color I do recommend using the Sally Hansen Color Therapy Nail & Cuticle Oil and Sally Hansen Color Therapy Top Coat.

Download the shopkick app here to start earning kicks when you purchase the Sally Hansen's Color Therapy at your local Target or Walmart!

Winter White in Lulus

Dress, heels and necklace from Lulus (shop the whole holiday collection here)

White is always a great color choice if you're looking for a festive dress but want to avoid getting overly fancy with sequins or sparkles. This past weekend I went to a friend's holiday Christmas party and decided to go with this body-hugging dress from Lulus. The fit is just perfect. I love the deep V and paired it with this layered necklace and these gold heels. This dress is selling out quick though so I've also linked to few other similar gorgeous dresses: this one is very similar (and all sizes are available), this lace dress and this bodycon dress. And this velvet dress isn't white but it's too stunning to pass up :) XOXO

Sparkling in Swarovski

Swarovski crystal cuffs | Tadashi Shoji dress

The other week I hosted an event and wore this gorgeous dress that had me feeling like a princess all night. As I was getting ready I was looking for the finishing touch to my look as it can often be tricky to accessorize a glamorous look. But these Swarovski crystal bracelets were the perfect pieces to add that extra sparkle...and I stacked a few on each wrist to really make them shimmer. I've been wearing them ever since, and they are so easy to dress up (or down) and style with a cardigan, sweater, and even a t-shirt. The best part is these bracelets come in eight different colors (as well as a double cuff version) which means you have the perfect color for every occasion...and every friend :) I know I'll be gifting a few of these Swarovski pieces out this holiday season! XOXO

Winter Hair Therapy with Pantene Pro-V

Pantene Pro-V Repair & Protect Shampoo and Conditioner + Pantene Pro-V Airspray Strong Hold Hairspray | Kitsch Couture Faux Suede Jacket | Lulus Blue Velvet Bodysuit | Express Denim | Silver Pumps | Furla Bag

I'm back in Cali for a little bit enjoying the nice (but slightly chilly) weather before heading off on my next adventure! It's easy to get tired of it day after day but when you go somewhere freezing, no matter how gorgeous it is, it is just nice to come back to some warmer temps!

Now, one thing my hair doesn't like is dry, cold air. My favorite way to keep it healthy throughout the varying temps each year brings is by using the Pantene Pro-V Repair & Protect collection. My hair used to break off at the ends and get tangled all the time. Daily use of the Pantene Pro-V Repair & Protect shampoo, and conditioner for about six months has helped bring my hair back to life! Great hair can do wonders for your look and especially your confidence.

Feeling Festive in SF

Before I left for Utah I decided to plan a quick trip to San Francisco with my sisters and our boyfriends since my boyfriend will be heading home to Croatia for Christmas. I love all the festivities during the holidays so I thought it would be a perfect time to visit Union Square for a day of ice skating and shopping! I don't go ice skating very often so I'm usually pretty slow but once I get the hang of it then I can actually skate away from the edges haha. After ice skating we warmed up with some yummy hot chocolate and cookies and kept it festive with Papyrus' new holiday entertaining collection. I love Papyrus (they have amazing cards!) so I was so excited to hear they came out with an entertaining line. Their pieces are all so cute--just look at those peppermint party picks! After refueling we did some shopping in Union Square, rode the trolley around SF and ended the night with a lovely dinner at Cheesecake Factory. Even though it was a quick trip, it was great getting together for some wonderful holiday memories :) XOXO

Dressing for holidays with Lulus

Thank you Lulus for sponsoring this post. All opinions expressed here are my own.
Lulus dress

One of my favorite places to find head-turning (but affordable!) dresses is Lulus. And with the holiday season here, they are always my go-to for every occasion. The only problem...there are too many great dresses to choose from! One of my favorite brands they carry is Bariano. Bariano dresses are always great quality and have an amazing fit (I wore this dress before in this post and my sister also wore it to the Vanity Fair red carpet event we attended earlier this year). The minute I saw this gorgeous dress I knew it was going to be one of my new favorite pieces in my closet. It gives you such a stunning shape and is the perfect dress for any formal holiday occasion.  I recommend pairing this dress with some delicate jewelry (like this bracelet or this necklace and rose gold heels :)

Shop the entire holiday dress collection here (I'm also loving this sequin dress, this maxi and this wrap dress). XO

How to Holiday with bebe

If you follow me on Instagram, you may remember a few weeks back I made a quick trip to L.A for a shoot with bebe. Well...I'm so excited to finally share the completed video! I hope you guys like it! You can also RSVP here to join bebe’s 24/7 virtual reality party.

This was actually my first video shoot so I had no idea what to expect. It was cool seeing the behind-the-scenes of a video since I'm mostly used to photo shoots. There were so many gorgeous models and looks on set, I wanted to steal all the dresses :) I wore this stunning dress in the video and I just love all the embellishments. I also posted with this LBD on my Instagram while I was on set and I received a ton of questions about it. The dress wasn't available before but now you can get it here. The whole collection of dresses are perfect for all the holiday parties--but they are going quick so grab them while you can! XOXO

Cabo San Lucas Recap

This post was written by me through an activation with HireInfluence on behalf of Southwest Airlines. Although I received compensation for participating in the campaign, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I just got back from my Cabo San Lucas trip with Southwest and it was amazing!! While it was a quick visit, my boyfriend and I had a wonderful time. We stayed at Hotel Mar Adentro, and this place is so beautiful and serene. It has one of the most unique hotel designs I've seen. You can check out their video tour here. While we were in Cabo we went sailing out to the famous Arch of Cabo, did some snorkeling, jet skiing and went on a food tour around the city. It was my first time visiting Cabo and I definitely plan to visit again soon! I hope you guys enjoyed following along on my adventures. And in case you missed, you can check out my post here on how enter the giveaway to win 1 of 12 $500 Southwest gift cards. I'm also sharing some of my favorite travel tips below!

Winter Wonderland

Can you believe December is almost here?! This year has just flown by! As much as I love the summer months, I always look forward to the holiday season. The holidays are always filled with good times with friends and family, lots of laughter, lots of eating...and of course, snowy getaways!

This past weekend a group of us packed up our bags after Thanksgiving and made our way up to Tahoe for a quick winter trip. We made it there just in time to catch the most beautiful winter wonderland. Since we had a few feet of fresh snow we made our way over to Kirkwood for a day of skiing and hanging out at the resort. I wore my a.n.a Anorak Jacket from JCPenney which is so perfect for the snow. It's such a beautiful jacket and I just love the faux fur trim. JCPenney has a variety of affordable pieces at great prices like this a.n.a jacket that retails for $119.99 #SoWorthIt. I love mix and matching higher end price point pieces with trendy, affordable pieces and sometimes you can't even tell which item cost more! Here I styled this jacket with my designer bag, gloves, thermals and booties...but I have to say this jacket is really the star piece.

JCPenney even has their own exclusive designer collections at affordable prices so you don't have to spend a fortune on winter necessities. To help make shopping easier for you guys, I've rounded up a few of my other favorite pieces from these collections at the end of the blog post and I definitely recommend checking them out! XOXO

Cyber Monday Favorites

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday weekend!! I had a lovely intimate dinner with friends and family at home and now we are in Tahoe for a few days of snow!

Did you guys do any shopping for Black Friday? I personally try to avoid any shopping at malls during the holidays because of all the madness so Cyber Monday is when I do all my shopping. And it seems like over the years, Cyber Monday deals are getting better than Black Friday deals! If you haven't already finished up all your shopping, I've rounded up some of my favorite deals below. It's definitely the best time to get in all your Christmas shopping so you can relax the rest of the month :)

Burgundy Monochrome

Charlotte Russe Dress and Lace Up Booties | Prada Bag (similar, budget-friendly bag here)

Here is another look I shot in Portland!! We found the most magical untouched park... but as we were shooting I realized a scarf would have both helped keep me warm and also make the look more interesting. I really have the perfect burgundy scarf that would have matched so nicely :( When I did the Marie Claire x Valley Fair event about a week ago with assistant editor Chelsea Peng from the website, we discussed fall trends that are huge and one of them is the monochrome look which is so chic and also helped me decide on this look.

I'm also hosting a giveaway for both local and international followers on my Instagram @hapatime in which local (SF Bay Area) followers can win a full outfit and a photo shoot with me and international followers can win over $150 bags of makeup goodies! Check it out but I can't say the competition isn't fierce, there is already over a thousand entrants!!

Burgundy Jacket

The weather in Portland is not as cold as I expected but it is still usually enough for a light jacket and booties! I honestly love how many leaves cover the ground everywhere we went - it is just something we Californian's never have to deal with. I don't know if the leaves just don't fall as fast or if someone else picks them up but it is amazing to see so many leaves, and I especially loved seeing them actually fall.

P.S. These booties also fold up but I don't think they were made for that since the top part kind of overlaps.

Cozy Cardigan Look

Rockport Booties | Kitsch Couture Cardigan (call 408.354.7909 to order) | Uno De 50 Jewelry | White Tank | Leggings | Jimmy Choo Bag
Thanks to Zappos and Rockport for sponsoring this post!

One thing I love about sweaters other than the fact that they're cozy, soft and a great fall staple is how many shapes and sizes they come in! I just picked up this cardigan because long cardigans have a great swing to them when you walk and plus they are like robes - and I knew instantly how perfect it would look with my super comfy new Rockport booties from Zappos! I swear walking in them feels as good as sneakers likely because the entire Rockport shoe line is known for comfort. I especially love that Rockport came out with a Total Motion Collection for women which more specifically focuses on the combination of fashion and comfort. These ones I am wearing have a nice little strap for a more interesting touch. Once again, I got my shoes on Zappos (I think I'm a shoe-aholic) because I knew how fast they would come. I've just been so busy with traveling, packing and unpacking, who has time to go to the mall?

Cannon Beach

Lands End Coat | Kitsch Couture Beanie | Abercrombie Denim | Kamik Boots
This post is sponsored by Zappos!

Last week my sister and I were in Oregon (but actually we're headed back today!) for a short four days. We had so many things we wanted to see and do before we left and one of them was this beach, also known as Cannon Beach. The rocks behind me are quite famous so they had to be in at least a couple of my backgrounds but what was so incredible was this magical sunset we stumbled upon. Literally all day it was raining, even the entire hour and a half drive to the beach! Right at the last second it stopped and we were able to go on the beach and shoot. I was so lucky I had my new waterproof Kamik boots on since even though I was going to the beach I wasn't expecting the entire ground to be wet. I had ordered them on Zappos super last minute and weren't sure they were going to make it on the trip. My sister's (she took these photos) poor non-waterproof shoes got kind of ruined!

When I wear my Kamik boots during the day, they actually stand out much better because then you can truly see the beautiful plaid print and bold laces! I love having dry, warm feet and you can bet these Kamik boots are going to come in handy on many more occasions this winter.

IG Roundup!

Happy Halloween everyone! My sister and I just got back from Portland a few days ago and now we are in L.A for a fun holiday shoot with Bebe! Portland was absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to share some more photos from our trip. Since we have some work to catch up and I have a shoot tomorrow we unfortunately didn't get to do anything for Halloween today. But we did make it to Venice Beach for a little bit after we landed. I'll be sharing some BTS of the Bebe shoot while I'm on set tomorrow so be sure to follow along on my IG stories! XOXO

Black Lace Dress

Outfit Details: Marks & Spencer Dress and Heels

I love a good I just couldn't resist this gorgeous lace dress from Marks & Spencer. The lace detailing and cut add the perfect amount of glamour and put a nice twist on your basic black dress. I like to stick to closed-toed shoes for classic looks so I thought these Marks & Spencer strap heels paired perfectly with the outfit (especially with the unique buckle straps!). This dress is so perfect for a date night, dinner event or all the holiday parties coming up. And the best part is you can make this look (not including the bag) for just around $100! XOXO

Cozy Chic

Outfit details: Express Sweater and Jeans

If you follow me on Instagram, you've probably seen that I'm currently in Portland and the autumn colors are in full peak right now! The colors are so vivid, it's just too beautiful. In addition to their beautiful fall foliage, Portland is famous for their amazing eats so of course we had to explore downtown for brunch! My sister and I met up with our cousin who lives in Portland and he took us to St. Honore Boulangerie and everything was amazing!! It's also around the corner from Dragonfly--only the cutest coffee shop ever! I am definitely loving Portland so far!

Easy Fall Look

This post is sponsored by Zappos!
Kensie Anorak | Brandy Melville Top | Joes Jeans | Steve Madden Bryrony Heels and Bag | Peggy Li Necklace

Today I have a casual look featuring some of my favorite 2016 fall trends! Did you know that taupe suede is just possibly the new nude for fall? At least, it is for me since it goes with everything! I actually just found both these gorgeous lace up heels and Joe's Jeans Wasteland Ankle in Jerri on Zappos just a few days before we shot this. I can always rely on Steve Madden to come out with the cutest shoes every season. And I simply LOVE Zappos since they can offer free shipping both ways so if you change your mind (any time, any day, for a full year), you can easily send them back! But of course I was happy with both my items :)

One of the reasons I always go back to Joe's Jeans is because of their wash! The fit is always on point (they work on so many different body shapes too) but I really adore the gorgeous blue shades of their denim. I used to paint a lot and the color of these actually remind me of a really rich blue I used to paint ocean scenes, called pthalo blue.

What are your favorite fall trends?

Allure's 2016 Best of Beauty Favorites

I recently had the opportunity to host Allure's Best of Beauty celebration launch at the San Francisco Bloomingdales where I had the chance to meet a bunch of my readers and pass out awesome goody bags! It was SO great meeting and chatting with each and every one of you who came out to the event!

While we were there, I got to pick out some of Allure's Best of Beauty products so I could share my favorite ones. I'm first off so enamored with Lancome's Ultra Cushion Foundation - it goes on so light but the coverage is incredible, and it makes your skin look perfect in a second! As for the Laura Mercier Eye Color in Tuxedo, it goes on very smooth and opaque. As you've probably noticed by now, I love to wear dark eyeshadow so this color was perfect for me. The Nars body glow smells like heaven - I think it would go best on tan skin but even if you're not (like me) then it will make your skin so subtly glow-y and beautiful. I'll have to wait until I get my fake nails off to wear the polish again but I have been really craving red nails lately. And the Dior lipstick in Rose Basier is just the perfect candy pink! I love how emollient this lipstick is and it really fills in lips so easily. Also on the list (but now shown) is the Shiseido Ibuki sleeping mask that I just discussed on my blog here as well as the T3 Whirl Trio that I did a hair tutorial with here! I just love the quality of these products!!

After being wow-ed by these few, I'm definitely going out to check out some of the others listed in the Allure magazine!! And in case you didn't grab the October issue, you can check out all the winners on Allure's online boutique here!

Little Gold Dress

I don't have many photos today but I just wanted to show you all this gorgeous little gold slip dress I found on Amazon! You really can find everything there. I love that it comes with a matching choker piece! The material is soft and easy to move around in. I wore it out for a dinner date, but it would be perfect for many more occasions. I'm personally loving the slip trend but they are best worn with a sweater or jacket to dress it down so it doesn't look like you are walking around in your loungewear. But then again, the PJ look is also in trend! :)

Denim Details

California is back to it's sunny weather after a weekend of rain! The temperature is warming up again so I paired my turtleneck with some shorts and added a pop of denim to match my denim CLUSE watch. I love how classic denim is so it's perfect to have a denim watch! My favorite is the rose gold with the white dial since it contrasts so nicely with the blue, but I'm also eyeing this black and denim watch since these watches are just so perfect for Fall and Winter!

Boost Your Skin Regimen with Shiseido

Like many girls at a young age, I remember sneaking into my parents bathroom and playing with my mother's makeup. Amongst her mascara and lipstick (which was used to draw on the walls and couches multiple times-sorry mom!) she always had her collection of Shiseido products in her vanity, just as her mother did. Shiseido has been used in my family for generations, so as a longtime Shiseido enthusiast I was so excited when I was asked to partner with them on IBUKI, their skincare line designed specifically to address the unique skincare concerns of the millennials.

The Perfect Everyday Over-The-Knee Boots

Madewell Skirt (similar on sale) | Gucci Bag | Charles David Boots | Top (similar top part of the F21 F&F sale)

I am so happy California is finally getting rain! We've been in a really bad drought the past few years so we really, really need lots of rain this season. It was actually raining while we shot this so we had to be fast because my hair gets messed up from the moisture in the air!

I just picked up this Madewell skirt when I went shopping last week and I am in love with how perfect it is for Fall and Winter! I paired it with my new Charles David boots and added a pop of color with my Gucci bag. In case you missed it, Macy's is having their big (annual? semi-annual?) shoe sale where you get 40% if you buy 3 pairs or more, or 30% if you buy 2 pairs. Because I have petite calves I have a really hard time finding over-the-knee boots that will fit me, so after trying on like 10 different pairs I finally found the perfect flat pair! If I don't wear them with jeans or leggings underneath I wear them with these thicker pair of HUE knee-high socks to really make it snug. And it's great because it has a tie at the top so it helps keep them up. These shoes do run big and I am wearing a 7.5 (I usually wear 8-8.5). With the 40% they come out to just under $100 which is a total steal! I also ordered these Steve Madden over-the-knee heeled boots which also fit amazing! (P. S the sale ends tonight--along with the Forever 21 friends and family sale!)

They have so many great styles to choose from and I found some great shoes and boots for Fall and Winter! I even found the perfect pair of flat over-the-knee boots for all my petite ladies out there and they come out to just under $100 with the 40% off! Use the promo code GREAT for the discount.

How to Style a Cardigan Two Ways

Cardigan | Bodysuit | Jeans | Bag | Flats

I stopped by Madewell the other day and couldn't believe how soft their sweaters were... and I honestly wanted to grab every single one they had! This particular cardigan stood out to me with it's versatility and so when Blovlovin' asked me to curate their shop, I thought it would be perfect to show you guys how you can wear a cardigan both casually and a little dressed up.

10 Favorite Fall Outfits

With our crazy California weather (we had another heatwave come through!) it seems as I'll be patiently waiting to wear my Fall outfits a little bit longer. So in the meantime I thought I would share some of my favorite looks from last Fall :) XOXO

Comfydent Moments Part 3

With our evenings quickly cooling down I think it's safe to say that sweater weather is finally upon us! (Although with our warmer California weather, we can sometimes still get away with still wearing shorts :P ) I love sweater weather and the feeling of being warm and cozy. I was doing some shopping and running errands all day yesterday so I kept my look cool and comfy with my Hanes Comfortflex Fit Bra, Hanes Cool Comfort Panties and Hanes ComfortSoft Sweatshirt. It's always so important to dress smart from top to bottom to keep you comfydent all day long. And I just love how this pink sweater and adds a nice pop of color!

Have a wonderful weekend! XOXO

Fall Sweater Dress

Dress and Purse from Ross

Fall is here and what better way to start the season than with a beautiful burnt orange sweater dress. This dress is seriously SO 90's and so on-trend, I love it. I considered wearing it with a cool waist belt but felt the silhouette worked as is. I paired it with this suede crossbody purse I found at Ross and a few statement jewelry pieces to really complement the dress. And can you believe both the dress and bag were under $20 a piece? I always love a good Ross find! XOXO

Blush Dress

Outfit Details: Charlotte Russe Dress and Heels | Peggy Li Earrings | Brighton Collectibles Cuff

Happy Monday! How is it October?! I don't know where the time goes! I'm so excited for fall and winter though. It's such a great time of the year :) I'll be styling lots of fall outfits soon but here is a date night look I wore this weekend. I love the cut-out V neckline and the blush color of this dress. I paired it with a few accessories, but nothing too flashy since I wanted to keep the look elegant. XOXO

2016 NYFW Recap

On Jasmine (left): Top (similar and affordable version here) | Trina Turk Bag (similar) | Joe's Jeans | Heels | Sunglasses

Last year I attended NYFW with my sister Jasmine in the spring and I must admit, the weather is much nicer for the fall NYFW! Last year was when NY had record low temps and it was absolutely freezing. It makes wearing spring clothes a little difficult!lol It was definitely a bit warm this time around but we really enjoyed the sunny weather.  We even made the last minute decision to bring along my sister's puppy (Sophie) on the trip. She's really calm and friendly with people so she is easy to travel with. Sophie even did a photoshoot with a little girl who was a model for a few of the runway shows!

We did a red-eye flight to NY and when we got there our room wasn't ready yet so I did a little shopping while Jasmine and Sophie slept in the lobby. I had been eyeing this gorgeous Gucci bag before the trip, so as soon as I saw it in store I knew I had to get it. This bag is even more gorgeous in person because the color and gold chain are just so stunning. And it comes in 18 colors so there's a perfect color for every occasion... just saying ;)

Check them out in person if you can, but if not, they do have a website you can use the code "hapa20" at for 20% off.

Burgundy Suede Moto Jacket

Burgundy is back with a passion! I have been so excited to see it in all forms - suede, cotton, velvet, leather, faux leather etc. Dresses, sweaters, bags, coats, jackets, tops and maybe even pants! This moto jacket I have on is from the new Lauren Conrad collection. She came out with some really cute stuff, you guys should take a look :) I'm eyeing this romper (those sleeves!!) this gorgeous satin piece, this top, and this easy to style cami (perfect to wear with sweaters).

Also this burgundy version of my MK bag is perfect to wear with all your fall outfits. I actually bought my bag in the mini tan version and this mini green one too so I'm still debating if I should get a third color in the same bag (but I think that may be a little too much lol).

A Fashionable Greeting

Ever since I was a little kid, my mom would always make sure my sisters and I wrote thank you cards. I remember each year we would each write up thank you cards for our grandparents and we were always sure to draw something sweet on their cards. As a child, I never thought much about these cards. They didn't seem like anything special to me at the time. When I was a little older, I remember visiting my Grandma during the summer. As I walked into her study to say hello, I was surprised by what I saw. Proudly displayed on her bookshelf were all the thank you cards my sisters and I had written to her over the years. It was then I realized just how special these cards were to my Grandma and how much she loved seeing our notes of gratitude.

First Look of Fall

Sweater Top, Booties, Bag and Bracelet from Ross

Temps are slowly dropping and I'm so excited to start building up a new fall and winter wardrobe! I discovered a good amount of bargains at my local Ross recently like this sleeveless sweater, black booties, studded bag and sparkly bracelet. I think it's easy to get caught up in designer items since they consistently come out with such great collections, but we sometimes forget that we can find similar pieces for a much lower price if we just have the patience! I mean would you ever guess that this outfit costs less than $150 (all accessories included!)? XOXO

Casual Denim

Well here's another denim look for you guys! This time I just went with a blue denim shirt and black jeans. I paired mine with lace up booties and straight hair since curls would be too glam for this casual look. I was wearing it untucked before I realized it looked too frumpy. Pay attention to your curves and don't forget if you are covering all your skin, focus more on your shape.

NYFW 2016

Hey guys! I'm in New York right now and thought I'd share my look from today since I've gotten behind on blog posts. I just got this bag at Saks on 5th and have to say, everything in that store is seriously pricey. But I'm sure it's a good buy and it really has been adding a great pop of color to everything! I also love this Self Portrait top as the detailing is exquisite! It's been busy every day and that's not including almost any shows! (I only went to 5!) There is just so much to do in so little time. I want to try every restaurant and every rooftop. I'm already trying to decide the next time I'll come back!

Yesterday was September 11th as we all know and I was able to visit the memorial location the night before. What they've done with the space is just amazing and everyone should see it. What they've done is build a square hole essentially, with waterfalls all on the sides. Within that is another square hole and each drop is 36 feet. It's huge and impressive. I am extremely moved every time I think of the horrors of that day and what the families of those victims still feel. There is no excuse for violence, ever.

Denim on Denim

Here is a look I wore last week while out and about! I finally went back to PopBar and tried a better flavor... their green tea combo with white chocolate, dark chocolate and waffle crumbs is to die for! I've had these white denim jeans for like two years now and just simply haven't found a better pair, ever. As for Labor Day weekend, I didn't do anything special except relax :) Never can get enough of that!

Urban Outfitters Top (unavailable, similar) | Skirt | YSL Bag | Schutz Heels | Tom Ford Sunglasses

I just bought my first YSL bag! I love it and will probably wear it to death as it goes with everything, even a white tee and denim ;) And normally I would wear shoes that match the bag or vice versus but alas I don't have any blue bags and I just love these Schutz heels!

I need to shop and pack for NYFW by the way... who else is going? :)

White Sweater

There is just something about whites and nudes that I've just recently become addicted to. Maybe it's because I'm redoing my bedroom right now and almost everything is going to be white. I seriously love white but hate that it gets dirty incredibly fast. I picked up this Brandy sweater a while ago and it is just so soft. I imagined it as a good beachy sweater but it's nice enough to wear with pumps in the city too.

Tip Tuesday: 10 Amazing Beauty Products to Try

Do you ever feel like there are too many beauty products to try and not enough time (or $$ for that matter)? Well, in hopes to help with your search, I've rounded up ten products that I'm currently loving. These products have been tried, test and coveted.

Oribe Dry Texturing Spray
I have thin, straight hair so a boost of volume is a must. This Oribe spray is perfect for everyday use. I just spray all over and I'm good to go (and no need to use dry shampoo!).

Comfydent Moments Part 2

Here is my second look in the Comfydent (comfortable + confident) series! This looks speaks Comfydence because of my comfy booties but also this sporty top that lets my comfy Hanes ComfortFlex fit bra (paired with some Hanes Cool Comfort underwear) peek out just a little bit. I love deep V necks and so it was nice to have a bra that gave a little more coverage while keeping my look casual chic. This faux leather burgundy skirt is going to be so easy to style for fall and I'm excited to show you guys more looks with it!

Have a lovely day!

Plunge Top and Ripped Denim Shorts

Urban Outfitters Top | Shorts | Michael Kors Bag (this small version is only available in stores) | Marc Fisher Boots (also love the burgundy suede version!)

I'm not sure if you guys have noticed but my hair has been a little thicker thanks to extensions! I've had them in almost 9 weeks now (I just went in for retouching yesterday). I always felt like my hair was too fine (clip ins are a pain) and so I finally looked up a quality salon in my area to see what kind of extensions they did and found out there was a new technique called nano beading. It is a way to install the extensions individually so that hair and scalp stays cleaner and there is no bulkiness around the base of the installation. I only have a half set in but could go in for the 2nd half or even the "glamazon" set. The difference in my hair thickness is pretty natural but I like that it isn't heavy on my head at all.

I actually tried extensions once before a long time ago and the (much lower quality) salon I found used a braiding/weaving technique and it was awful! I remember my head itched so much since I couldn't wash it that thoroughly. It was also impossible to put my hair in a ponytail and now I can, though it is safer to not to because it loosens the extensions a little bit. Anyways the hair artist deep conditioned my hair and I have to say it feels amazing. I don't know why I never think about never putting my hair in a mask but it really makes a difference.

Have a lovely day!

Here is a great look for the upcoming cooler weather. I love anoraks and how they just add a coolness to any look. Of course, ripped denim and cute booties don't hurt either.
Have a great day!
