Last year I attended NYFW with my sister Jasmine in the spring and I must admit, the weather is much nicer for the fall NYFW! Last year was when NY had record low temps and it was absolutely freezing. It makes wearing spring clothes a little difficult!lol It was definitely a bit warm this time around but we really enjoyed the sunny weather. We even made the last minute decision to bring along my sister's puppy (Sophie) on the trip. She's really calm and friendly with people so she is easy to travel with. Sophie even did a photoshoot with a little girl who was a model for a few of the runway shows!
We did a red-eye flight to NY and when we got there our room wasn't ready yet so I did a little shopping while Jasmine and Sophie slept in the lobby. I had been eyeing this gorgeous Gucci bag before the trip, so as soon as I saw it in store I knew I had to get it. This bag is even more gorgeous in person because the color and gold chain are just so stunning. And it comes in 18 colors so there's a perfect color for every occasion... just saying ;)
We attended KYBOE!'s first NYFW show and it was so much fun! We went to Miami Swim week with the KYBOE! team so it was great seeing everyone again and catching their show in NY. I wore this black KYBOE! watch to match my DVF romper and Jasmine wore this nude watch to match her Yumi Kim dress.

In between shows and shoots we did as much exploring as we could. We even took Sophie to the park a couple of times :) On our last night we attended the Bloglovin' Awards (where bloggers are nominated for different categories like best photography, travel blog, streetstyle, etc.) and it was so fun to meet many of the other bloggers and see all the winners. It was a crazy whirlwind of a week but we got to see some great shows, eat good food, and catch up with old friends :)
See you again soon NY!! XOXO
