Ever since I was a little kid, my mom would always make sure my sisters and I wrote thank you cards. I remember each year we would each write up thank you cards for our grandparents and we were always sure to draw something sweet on their cards. As a child, I never thought much about these cards. They didn’t seem like anything special to me at the time. When I was a little older, I remember visiting my Grandma during the summer. As I walked into her study to say hello, I was surprised by what I saw. Proudly displayed on her bookshelf were all the thank you cards my sisters and I had written to her over the years. It was then I realized just how special these cards were to my Grandma and how much she loved seeing our notes of gratitude.
Since then, I’ve been mindful to always write cards to loved ones, whether to say happy birthday, wish them well or just let them know I’m thinking of them, a greeting card is perfect for those special moments. Especially in this digital age, there is nothing quite like a hand-written note to add a personal touch. As both a fashionista but also someone who is constantly adding to my greeting card collection, I immediately fell in love with the new collection from the Papyrus and fashion designer Zang Toi collaboration. Designer Zang Toi has created a line of edgy, dramatic and oh-so-elegant stationary cards that will have you lusting after each design. And with the holidays right around the corner, I have a feeling these cards are going to come in very handy 🙂
