7 Things I Never Travel Without

Outfit details: SF baseball cap | Converse | Suitcase | Tote

Each time I pack for a trip, I always make a list. Otherwise, I’m sure to forget something important. While my packing lists can often be long (better safe than sorry!), I’m sharing the 7 items I’ll never travel without.

1. Blanket

Have you ever noticed how cold airplanes are? If you’ve ever been freezing on an airplane, it’s not pleasant (especially if it’s a long flight). And being extra prone to getting sick while traveling, you really want to make sure you stay warm. Be sure to pack in your carry-on or purse where it’s easily accessible during the flight.

2. Lavender eye mask

I bought this eye mask as a Christmas present for my sisters (also picked up one myself) and it is perfect for traveling. Not only does is smell amazing (lavender soothes nerves naturally), it is helpful when you need to get some shut eye on the plane.

3. Tablet

One of my favorite times to catch up on reading is when I travel. While in the airport or on the plane, it’s one of the rare times I find myself with hours to spare (especially if there is no wifi available). I pre-download a bunch of books and magazines onto the Kindle app and sync them on both my phone and tablet so I can read them on either one.

4. Dry shampoo

Another life-saver is dry shampoo. It gives you that volume/lift needed and will help keep you looking fresh after any flight or any day you’re on the go — since it’s common to be busy when traveling.

5. Eye make-up remover/Make-up wipes

I carry a travel sized eye-makeup container (My favorite is Lancome – I’ve been using it now over 10 years!) just in case I need to remove/fix my makeup at any point. You have to be careful because the bottle often spills (always put your liquids in plastic bags!) so I also recommend makeup wipes if you don’t want to carry any liquids.

6. Portable battery charger

This is one of the most important items I bring with me. Since I’m always using my phone for pictures/snapchatting/editing, I go through my battery like crazy and having the 4 extra charges is a life-saver. (And I often carry an extra battery charger even when I’m not traveling).

7. Steamer

Most hotels don’t have steamers, so it’s always important that I bring a travel sized steamer with me. I use a steamer on a daily basis — it’s faster and easier on the clothing — and I definitely recommend getting one if you don’t have one already!

var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-33695057-1']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);

(function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s); })();

    Useful tips! Will try out the dry shampoo. Eye mask is a must for me as well while traveling, but I like to bring those steam disposable eye masks. Just throw it after use and it is heated. :)MISS LUCIA |Fashion & Lifestyle

    I clicked on the dry shampoo link and it led to the portable battery charger on Amazon. Just curious to know what dry shampoo you like to use. :)Pollyhttp://gemsandjoy.com

      Oh sorry Polly I just saw this! I love Batiste Dry Shampoo and just tried the Klorane one which was possibly even better as it has no residue! xoxo
