Kauai Recap - Hapa Time

Kauai Recap

Thursday, June 22, 2017

My boyfriend and I spent the first part of our Hawaii trip in Kauai. This was actually my first time in Kauai and as you can see from the pictures, it is just gorgeous!! Kauai is very different than Oahu since it is less crowded and most of the land is private property (which can make it difficult to explore a lot of the island).

We stayed at the Koloa Landing Resort for five days. It is a beautiful resort with three pools and gorgeous landscaping plus a delicious restaurant called Holoholo Grill. On the first day we just explored and drove around the island. On the second day we went on a boat ride along the Napali Coast with Go Blue Adventures! Go Blue Adventures definitely took us for a ride! The waves were a big crazy so we got kind of soaked but it was so cool seeing the saves and beaches with no land access! On the third day we took a helicopter ride which is how I got these beautiful landscape photos!

Kauai is the perfect place for a quiet getaway and the chance to see some beautiful scenery. When packing for your trip, think lots of cute bathing suits, blouses, shorts and dresses. And don't forget some sunscreen! xo
