When L’occitane asked me to join them in Provence to visit their headquarters and tour the lavender fields, I could not have been more ecstatic. Visiting Provence in the summertime has been at the top of my bucket list for some time now, and to have the chance to be there with such an amazing brand was such a dream! I had only recently started using their products and they quickly became favorites of mine. After experiencing Provence with the L’occitane and learning about their company values, commitment to sustainable farming and using the highest-quality ingredients, I’ve fallen even more in love the brand!
On our first morning in Provence we had a 4 AM wake up call to go hot air ballooning. This was my first time hot air ballooning and it was truly a magical experience flying over the country side watching the sunrise. We even got lucky and came across a sunflower field on our drive back to the hotel!
Later that afternoon L’occitane took us for a ride in the cutest vintage cars to visit the lavender fields and picnic under a beautiful, old tree located on a farm in the countryside. The lavender fields were just gorgeous and smelled amazing. You just have to be careful when walking through the field because there are hundreds (if not thousands!) of bees around! The bees are busy working on the lavender though so they will mostly keep to themselves π
L’occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream
On our last day we had a morning wellness retreat where we learned about the essential oils that come from different flowers. One of my favorite products, the Immortelle Divine Cream, uses Immortelle oil which comes from a golden wildflower and is revered for it’s ability to nourish and heal the body. Because of this, the immortelle oil is the perfect ingredient to help fight signs of aging. We were given a bottle as a welcome gift when we arrived in Provence, and I have been using the cream everyday since and my skin feels so smooth, it’s amazing. There is a reason why it is one of their best-selling, award-winning products and has a 4.7 rating with over 500 reviews!
It was truly an unforgettable experience we had with L’occitane during those few days and an amazing way to experience Provence. If you haven’t tried L’occitane before, I highly recommend their products or stopping by one of their stores if you have the chance!
