Longchamp Custom Le Pliage Bag, Zara Olive Puffer Jacket, Purple Turtleneck [Steal, Splurge], H&M Faux Leather Mini Skirt [Similar], Ivanka Trump Suede Thigh High Boots, Rue Gembon Ring [Similar Rue Gembon Rings: 1, 2, 3]
A few weeks ago I had the chance to visit Longchamp in downtown San Francisco and design a custom Le Pliage Heritage bag as part of their 20 year birthday! If you guys follow me on Instagram you may have seen this post! While Longchamp was founded in 1948, they created the Le Pliage line in 1993. Since then they have been exceptionally successful and sold over 32 million bags!
When customizing your bag, aside from the size, you have the option to choose a color for the strap, handles/flap, outside color, inner color, and tabs! So you can really go crazy if you want! And in retrospect, I think I should have gone with a hot pink inner lining for a fun little kick! JKR are my initials (yes the same as J. K. Rowling!), and I could have gotten them perforated for an even more unique look. As it is, I think purple and black are pretty unusual colors for a bag already. I chose them anyways because the combination of purple and black is both sporty and perfect for winter! I picked the largest version since it looked just right for traveling and I really need a new carry on bag.
Upon styling, I decided to go with olive, which is one of the best colors to complement purple! And as you all can see I have styled these boots for the 5th time in less than a month. Oh dear…
