I recently got back from a weekend at the Golden Gate Park in San Francisco for
Outside Lands and it was blast! I’m so happy I finally had the chance to attend the
festival since I seem to always be out of town in past years. SF weather is pretty
unpredictable, and it was absolutely FREEZING the first two days and then when we
were all bundled up for the third day it got sunny and warm! lol We hung out at the CafeBustelo Experience tent and drank up as much cafe con leche samples as possible
(they were so good!!) to keep us warm and keep our energy going throughout the day. If
you haven’t tried Cafe Bustelo coffee before, you really have to try it. It smells amazing
and tastes even more amazing! It’s sold at your local grocery store, or you can buy it
online at JavaCabana.com.
The festival was so much bigger than I thought and we kept on wandering around
discovering new areas. We had some delicious festival food over the three days and
some of my favorites included the fried chicken and waffles, dumplings, tamales and a
doughnut burger. They even had a ChocoLand and we got some delicious hot
chocolate and s’more bars 🙂
They had some throwbacks in this year’s lineup which was pretty awesome and I saw
Third Eye Blind, Zedd, LCD Soundsytem, Major Lazer, Lionel Richie and Lana Del Rey.
Major Lazer was one of my favorites since we were able to get close to the front
(without getting stuck in any mosh pits lol) and everyone was having a great time. We
also caught Lana del Rey before we left and she was so beautiful! I love all her songs
so it was really awesome to see her perform live. I can’t wait for next year!
*Thank you to Cafe Bustelo for the amazing weekend and for sponsoring this post! All opinions expressed are my own.
