This is actually one of my favorite outfits so far :) I have been waiting (seemed like forever) for this Motel Rocks skirt to arrive in the mail. I think it got stuck in customs or something but the moment I received it from the tired-looking mailman this morning, I threw it on (of course I had to steam out the wrinkles first) and matched it with my Motel Rocks lacy crop top and ran out the door.

Crop tops are one of those totally awesome spring trends I was so excited to try and I have to say I really love it. Yes you have to to be pretty slender to pull it off but it adds a really fun and new element to a look that feels very fresh. And with the cream yellow and soft lilac, I felt like this look just sang spring. And yes, now this is my 3RD purple purse. I just can't help it! It's my favorite color, and they are really all very different to me! Perhaps purple purses will become my version of the black shoe. A lot of fashion bloggers have like 20 pairs of black shoes haha ♥

There's quite a few movies that are coming out soon that I am really looking forward to, such as The Avengers, Snow White and the Huntsman and The Raven.

This beautiful purse is from Handbag Heaven! What's amazing about them is that they sell all of their on-trend bags for $10 to $85 dollars, and everything is marked down! Right now they even have a 15% off sale site wide :)

I felt like the purse was very structured, so it would go well with a structured skirt, like this denim pencil skirt! And what better way to tie it all together, than with a light purple top to match?

Oh and yes I hope you don't mind, the sunlight was very spotty and most of the photos came out quite gloomy!

The heat wave passing through the Bay is so, so nice. It reached 95 degrees yesterday. I know a lot of people hate it, but I get cold very easily. So warm weather is my favorite weather ever. Plus it reminds me of Hawaii :)

I received this lovely aquamarine dress from In Love with Fashion. It's a pretty, lightweight dress, and great for warm weather. The material is very, very thin though, so you need to wear a slip, and the back isn't quite backless, but it does require a backless bra. I have invested in the Invisible Uplift bra by Victoria's Secret, and I say "invested" because at about $70 and only 25 wears, it is pretty pricey. I don't know what else I can wear with a backless/dress top otherwise, do you?
