For some funny reason, my lacy cardigan with the bow and my cute Yorkie sleeping in my lap made me think of the Sound of Music lyrics!
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens

Truly though this post will be about my "secret" contest entry to win my dad a trip to Tahiti. (It's secret because he doesn't know anything about it!) It is on my right side bar. He is amazing and I love him so much. I really feel like he is the best dad in the world. He is ever so patient, understanding and brilliant.
All my life he has been teaching my 3 sisters and I new things every single day - about science, philosophy, math tricks and more. He gives us really great advice, doesn't judge us ever, and always compliments our talents, style, accomplishments. He provides for our family day in and day out, for the last 26 years really, he hasn't taken any breaks. Every holiday you can think of, you will finding him sitting at his computer working... in fact at least 5x a week I can guarantee he has been working so long he has fallen asleep at his computer once again...and it is frustrating to see him work so hard to keep his company going and keep our house and provide for all 6 of us (albeit I am paying rent to help out) and still not be able to go on his dream trip to Tahiti.
